Come to the Basketball game...
Tonight, a New Zealander is singing the American National anthem at the BYU Basketball game vs. UNLV. Ha ha.

I need your help.
If you're reading my blog, it means you're probably a good mate. As a good mate, I'm reaching out to you for a few things:
First, you're invited to a little BBQ party at my house this Monday.
Second, please bring meat and some other goodness. You know you want to celebrate with us!
Third, I love you.

My mum called last night...
One of the reasons why going to bed early is (a little) inconvenient: I miss my mothers late night phone calls. True story. This morning I woke up to this:
Here's a photo of mum when she was 17 years old:
"Call received at 11:27pm" *Beep* "Hi Son, Just calling to say Hi. Ok, Love you. Bye."I was fast asleep and needing a chat with mother. Goo. Reason number 23,458,992,490 why I love my mother: We always have the best phone conversations.

Dear Friends:
I'm just wondering when anyone is going to post so that i can read it. You know, I often log onto my blog just to see who has updated. However, it's been about a day since I noticed any changes. I don't care what you have to say, just that you say it. :)
Also, if you what a shout-out on my blog to yours (aka you've updated but I don't follow yours), please let me know in a comment. You're great. Love ya.

Back to School
Well, in case you didn't notice, school has started again. Also, I walked outside to go to the gym and discovered that it was snowing a little bit again. Great. I was wondering if we were going to get anymore of it around!
Oh, you should probably come to the Terrace to watch the Karaoke finals too. Just saying.

David Archuleta, President Monson, and the Governor!
Oh boy. Today was a busy one...I've been up and going since 6am. I nearly died of frost bite 20 times because of how freezing it is. Seriously though, it's as cold as death here. I don't care who you are or where you're from.
On a happier note, I went to the Governor's Inauguration and it was good times. Little David Archuleta was there singing and waving to the screaming girls; but, more importantly, President Monson was there. I have to tell you about the funny experience that I (sort of) witnessed:
Anyway, here is the video of the national anthem. Notice the screams at the end of an inauguration? Really though.

After a Federal Judge gave the oaths of office to the Governor etc, he said something like, "Please remain seated after the prayer as the elected officials are escorted into the Capitol Building for the execution...of their oath's of office." Right then, I looked up to see President Monson smile and turn to the Rabbi next him saying something about "The Execution." I can only imagine what he was saying. I laughed even more when I noticed him saying something about "The Execution" again, as the officials were leaving. Hilarious.

Look what I found: A Brand New Year
So I've had a few Facebook comments and I've spoken to random people about the church DVD I was in. I think I even mentioned it all on the blog way back in September--but anyway, I FOUND IT ONLINE!
I know it's probably only exciting to me...but for those of you who love EFY-esk performances (like me), then this is good times. I'm in the video clip titled 'Strength of Youth' right at the end. Just so you know. Ha ha.
So you can visit: abrandnewyear.lds.org
Or you can watch it right here:
