Something has changed.
Today, I put Oregon plates on my car:

Oregon has had some interesting slogans (
according to Wikipedia): 1966 "Pacific Wonderland," 1987 "Things look different here," and presently "We Love Dreamers."
Looking back, I think they all apply to me in some way. :)
