Fourth of July Holiday...

This weekend, we

went here

where we lit fireworks (probably some of the biggest that I have actually been able to light...I'm from NZ, ok?), went boating (we nearly died while being swung around in a semi-circle in relatively cold boating circumstances), hung out with friends and family (hilarious), and ate heaps of food (I really enjoyed the Breakfast Pizza and Grandma's Scones).

Oh, we also ran a 5K race in Lewiston, UT today. Pretty legit. Except that I came 11th (out of 14 in my age/gender bracket) and about 60th out of all the men (don't worry about the "Under 10 year olds"--they were in prams. I hope.). Remember, it was my first race. Yeah!

That's so awesome you did a 5k! Serious - It's one of my new goals now that I can actually run and am more in shape. Next time, you'll be tenth! :)

I'm glad things are going well for you - makes me smile.

Yeah I'm glad my family made the blog! We were all glad you could come over. Sorry the river was SOO cold! Maybe next time it won't be so bad.
