In the meantime, I went and purchased some Steak and Cheese pies from Mr. Mark Petersen. Can I just say that they were/are amazing?!! I tell everyone--all the time--that the one thing I miss from New Zealand is meat pies! If you had grown up eating something your whole life, would you miss it? I have. But now, I don't have to miss it anymore. Mark is selling them and I'm going to buy them....regularly.
Who wouldn't want to buy this? Mmmmmmmm.

The average cost of a meat pie was about NZ$2 this puts the sale of meat pies in New Zealand to be 60 million. As New Zealand has a population of 4 million this puts the average consumption per head to 15 per year.
